Nancy Lynch, The Viet Nam Mail Bag: Voices from the War, 1968 - 1972
Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m.

Book Discussion in the Barrow Gallery (enter through the Library)
From May 1968 through December 1972, Nancy Lynch wrote a popular column in the Wilmington Morning News that provided the opportunity to let those at home know where they stood on issues ranging from the war to the weather.
After the program, Lynch will autograph and personalize her book which sells for $40. This event is free and open to the public.

 The author of this illustrated children's book will bring to life the story of the Erie Canal, one of America's most ambitious public-works projects, that stretched from New York to Lake Erie and helped to open up the West in the early 1800's. Free and open to the public.


Spring Book Drive!

The Friends of the Skaneateles Library are asking for book donations.

 May 1 through May 31st is book drive month at the Library. Support the annual book sale by bringing your gently used books, audio books on CD, DVDs, music CDs and jigsaw puzzles.

Donations will be accepted at Tops, the Community Center and the LIbrary.

Program of story time for kids of mixed ages (1 – 4)
